Ref's Match Report - Sep 30, 2005

Friendly Matches
Valley II vs. Quake
62 - 5
Referee Peter Bale

The Quake were ultimately overpowered by a very good Valley B side, who helped a little by some guests from Snake's large traveling A squad.
Excellent conditions helped a flowing game played in good spirit.
Valley B's backs, controlled well by the fly-half, caused the Quake quite a few problems displaying speed coupled with elusive running.
The Quake's habit of creeping off-side regularly didn't help their cause. But both side's commitment to play the game ensured excellent entertainment. Well done both teams.

Ref's Match Report from 9/23/06

Sep 23, 2005 - Men's Division III
Quake vs. Budd Bay | Match Report
Score: 55 - 19

On a hot sunny day the large crowd at Marymoor were treated to an excellent well fought game played in terrific spirit. Budd Bay had numbers problems starting the game with 13 players, and being reduced to twelve early in the game through a knee injury. We had uncontested scrums from then on. Leading 17-12 at half-time, Quake effectively sealed the result with a try direct from the re-start . At no time did Budd Bay lose heart, much to their credit, and they did get a consolation third try, but Quake ran in four more to come out emphatic winners.

There were no ropes on either side of the field, a problem which should be addressed soon. An excellent social followed, well attended by all, confirming an excellent attitude by both clubs.
