2007 Pride Parade

We marched in the pride parade once again this year. We had a much better position though, 50th instead of 164th. There is nothing quite like running drills in front of thousands of people cheering for you!

We had brought four and a half boxes of calendars to get pass out and they went really fast! Soon everyone was rucking, srumming, passing, running line-outs and star drills in the intersections.

Our VP Jeff Wilson said, "The solidarity that we showed as a team and the energy and excitement that we have about the best sport in the world was very evident to the 50,000 people lining the sides of 4th Avenue today. It was great to ruck and pass and play rugby through the streets of Seattle with the best group of guys in the sport. We had quite a few people remark at the Festival that it is really clear that we love playing the sport and we should see some of the benefits at the NPO and when our season starts in September."
